UCI

UCI, a BNP Paribas subsidiary, sells housing loans to individuals, mostly through a network of intermediaries from the real estate sector. It operates under the brand name UCB in France, Italy, the Netherlands and Norway and as UCI in Spain, Portugal, and since January 2004, in Greece.

Although Greeks are more likely to own than to rent their housing, the use of a credit for buying a house is still limited. Up until 2002, the high inflation and corresponding interest rates which affected the Greek Drachma limited the consumers buying opportunities. Now that Greece is in the Euro zone, the interest rates of mortgage credits have been drawn closer to those of Western Europe. In this favorable environment, UCI is a privileged partner for acquisition of estate.

UCI Hellas commercial offices are located in Athens and Thessalonica. Overall, UCI Hellas hosts 40 employees.
